Sure “The Truth” [00:40]# The protagonist in this spot is apparently based on the character in the popular French action film “La femme Nikita” although the commercial is set in some distant future. She has to undergo a special kind of lie detector test and is strapped to a huge machine that measures perspiration on the fingertips in order to find out if someone is telling the truth or not. The young woman here is accused “forbidden zone,” which she vehemently denies although flashbacks tell us another story. She gets away with her lies due to the fact that she has cunningly sprayed her fingertips with “Sure” deodorant before submitting to the test.
