But the folk of Amstel Beer’s advertising are, apparently, everywhere. So they tell us to try a glass of Amstel, which is really all it takes to make one buy this beer. Then, at least, they don’t need to chase us to the ends of the earth with their desperate persuasion techniques. The third commercial starts out differently: we seem to be watching some kind of thriller about killer viruses but in the end it turns out that the marketing people of Amstel have even managed to persuade them to come across for their beer.
