Daewoo “Freefall” + “Airbag” [00:30]
A Daewoo Legenza rests quietly in the middle of the screen. Suddenly, a man tumbles from the sky onto the roof of the car, followed by tools and car parts, which rain heavily down on the car and the man’s head. After that another man, more parts, and then a third man all bounce off of the car and onto the floor. Finally, a road service truck falls from the sky. All of this to advertise Daewoo’s new all-inclusive service package. In the second spot, a sleek sporty Daewoo lanos fills the screen accompanied by a symphony of revving motors and shifting gears. Suddenly, the harmony is broken by a horn blowing and tires screeching. An airbag is released which takes the form of a – rather chunky and starknaked – man. The newest safety feature, we learn, is a safe driving course included in the price of the car.
