The Escape #
There are approximately 9,000 refugee kids from Ukraine in Slovakia. Even though they escaped the war, many of them are still traumatized, and without help, they cannot process the trauma. Plamienok, the Slovak NGO specializing in grief counseling, launched an initiative to raise funds in order to help Ukrainian children affected by war trauma. Based on a real story of
a refugee kid from Ukraine who escaped the war and came all by himself to Slovakia with only a phone number written on his hand.
