Amora “Martian” (01:05) + “Spider” (01:10) #
This commercial for Amora is done in the
style of poorly animated science fiction
films of the 30s. In the first, the assistant
at an intergalactic observatory adds a generous portion of hot ketchup to her food.
Her glasses all steamed up, she stumbles
around the room, spilling coffee over her
boss. “I will kill you,” he screams with the
“Speak” switch on the universe intercom
turned to “On.” The chief commander of
Mars “wobbles” over in his spaceship and
wipes out the Earth. In the second, we
encounter a researcher who, after ingesting the fiery ketchup with his sandwich,
has perspiration dripping down into his
new super growth agent. The foaming substance catches a spider which mutates into
a creature of gigantic proportions and
entangles the entire world in its web. Payoff: “Remember: A little bit is a lot.”
