Greenpeace “Hunting” (00:30) #
Eschewing the shocking images so familiar to us all, Saatchi & Saatchi, Warsaw,
uses alternative means to address the
whaling issue. To dramatic music, three
whalers are, in a picture knitted from
wool, pulling on a line which has hooked
a whale. The knitted image then tears in
the place where the whale’s mouth is. As
the whalers continue to pull, the entire
picture suddenly dissolves. Behind it appears the claim: “Greenpeace. Stop whaling.”
