Wilkinson Sword Quattro for Women: “Mow the lawn” [01:10]# Fresh and airy, upbeat, decidedly “girlie,” and cutely sung to boot – that’s the recipe for this spot advertising women’s razors from Wilkinson. The protagonist and her girlfriends profess to being devotees of “lawnmowing” (used here as a metaphor for the shaving and shaping of their bikini line) and gardening. They therefore sing of the joys of “trimming hedges and weeding” while hopping around the garden on pink lawnmowers. With the new Quattro, “trimming bushes” is twice as much fun.
