John Smiths: “No Nonsense – Diner” [00:30]# UK comic Peter Kay once again slips into the role of the John Smiths frontman. This time around, he is sitting having dinner with his wife and friends and drinking John Smiths Ale. On the flatscreen, we see some attractive babes working out in an aerobics video. This prompts the wife to bait him a little, asking what kind of woman he would like to go out with if he could pick anyone he wanted – his choice admittedly being restricted to celebrities who will always remain unattainable for him. Peter affirms that he wants only her, yet she remains insistent, not giving up until he goes and puts his foot in it and says what he thinks – naming his coworker Claire. Embarrassed silence descends. Strapline: “John Smiths. No Nonsense.”
