On the CNN website set up for the COP17 Conference (28.11.-9.12.2011) in Durban, discussions focusing on the event were visualized in a digital installation via a live Twitter feed. Each tweet is a dot, linked to other tweets on the same subject. This gave rise to organic-looking structures resembling trees on a globe. The mouse can be used to click on one
of the dot-like points and read the accompanying tweet.
Jeff Benjamin: “Through invention, CNN made what could be perceived as a dull topic fascinating.”
