On letting the spot run for a few seconds,
the initial impression is that one is
watching one of those car commercials
in which parts floating through the air
come together, as if of their own accord,
to form a sporty little number. Sometimes,
one has to watch the entirety to
realize that an original assumption such
as this was really wide of the mark. The
parts coming together to form a rear
axle in this spot are part of the new Adistar,
which is not a car but an adidas
trainer that is specially cushioned at the
rear. Once again, the tagline of the
sports brand proclaims: “Impossible is
nothing.”
