TBWAShanghai (180TBWA), Shanghai

[3.08.148]

More Info

In this animated Olympic spot for
adidas, China’s historic 1959 defeat is
recounted from the perspective of a
footballer who was 19 at the time. A
large wing symbolizes the supporters’
hopes for a win – only for it to shatter
above the crowd. The spectators are
catapulted into the air before falling
down into the abyss. The spot then
changes from black-and-white to colour,
and into the future. The message, as
always with adidas: “Impossible is
nothing.”
