During Pope Francis’s visit to Portugal for the World Youth Day event in Lisbon, I launched “ALL ABOUT FRANCIS,” an immersive project using Artificial Intelligence to depict an alternative journey of Francis throughout Portugal. It is an immersive experience crafted with the assistance of AI, portraying Francis in a manner rarely witnessed, as he explores Portugal intimately, an aspect that may elude both the Portuguese populace and the world. Francis visited 22 cities during 26 days. The artistic intention behind “ALL ABOUT FRANCIS” is to explore universal themes, such as identity, freedom, time, recognition, and behavior.
