AT&T: “Scorsese” [00:30]# A mother allows her son to talk to his dad on the phone before he goes to sleep; suddenly, Martin Scorsese enters the frame, assuming control as the director of the rest of the scene. He tells the boy his father is not his father but a criminal, and makes the mother out to be a frustrated old bitch and an alcoholic. Having said this, he shoots off again. The payoff of this spot for telephone company AT&T, which was produced in association with Scorsese: “We don’t interrupt your phone calls. Please don’t interrupt our movies.”
