This campaign is for BBC World, the BBC’s first commercial channel. It focuses on the BBC’s news coverage and features some of their journalists, who are taken off to the original location of some of the stories they filed to recount their experience of reporting from there. The journalists’ “talking heads” – as well as some scenes shot on location – are intercut with footage from their original reports, which makes for a fascinating visual juxtaposition. In the spots selected here, the events reported on are the floods in Mozambique and news from Jerusalem on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Tagline: “BBC World. Putting news first.”
