BBC: “Winter Olympics” [00:40]# As a curtain-raiser for its coverage of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, the BBC opted for a black-and-white animated TV commercial in which an Inuit is seen battling the elements in tough terrain firmly in the grip of winter. In doing so, he displays great Olympic abilities, practicing not only snowboarding, curling or skiing but also employing the art of ski-flying to escape a pack of hungry wolves.
