This commercial from BBC Two for its
new “The truth about food“ series concerns itself, naturally enough, with dietary issues. To strains of the 50s song
“Home Cooking” by Bob Hope und Margaret Whiting, we see individual words –
Can oily fish reduce your stress? – smeared
onto a plate alongside ever more unappetizing-looking varieties of fish – until,
in the end, they are quite literally smacked
down, ultimately causing the plate to
break, with the fish reduced to just a pile
of bones.
