Blackcurrant Tango “St.George” [01:30]# Ray Gardner, spokesperson for the Tango brand of soft drinks, reacting to a letter by Sebastian Lois, a French exchange student, who says he didn’t enjoy new Blackcurrant Tango as much as their other flavors. Ray’s response to Sebastian turns into a veritable tirade as he marches out of his office, through the car park and into open fields, joined by a growing army of co-workers and dropping his shirt, tie and trousers as he strides along to the accompaniment of martial music. The spot ends on Ray in purple boxing shorts in a purple ring on the white cliffs of Dover, surrounded by thousands of supporters and a squadron of RAF fighter planes hovering above. “I’ll take you all on . France, Europe, the World. I drink Blackcurrant Tango . come and get me!”
