More Info

Canal+: “Mafia” [00:45]# A shady-looking character stops outside a joint somewhere. He goes inside, is padded down by security, and then joins the boss at a table – some kind of mafia set-up, obviously. It would appear that he has got the latter’s daughter pregnant. Quite a serious business, were it not for the fact that everyone keeps twitching their head in such a strange way. No wonder, however, since the narrator of the story has exactly the same tic. The characters’ breathing problems turn Marie-Antoinette’s impending guillotining into a farce. The narrator just happens to be out jogging. The sign-off of this campaign for French pay TV channel Canal+: “Canal+. Films too good to keep to yourself.”
