A famous campaign for Clairol’s Nice ´n Easy hair colorant. It dates from 1971 and, in terms of concept and headline, turned out to be completely in tune with the rising feminist mainstream sensibility of the times, which also resulted in a greater interest in “naturalness”, something which also meant less tolerance for elaborate hairstyling products or the kind of poodlesque hairstyles in vogue with the previous generation (and famously on display in our other Classics ad).
