Anyone watching this around six-minute-plus film has no real idea what is happening as we
share chance moments in the life of a couple. By deliberately excluding sequences in which lips can be read, however, the spot could – together with some rather negative body language – tell a completely different story to the version as interpreted by someone with good hearing once ambient noise is shut out. It is, in fact a hearing test by Cochlear LTD, a supplier of cochlear implants.
