David Lynch Foundation “Sounds Of Trauma”
A film featuring short battlefield sequences playing to a soundtrack that would appear to be as authentic as the images. In actual fact, however, it was – as we later see – assembled
from a collage of everyday sounds. The aim of the David Lynch Foundation is to show how these quite ordinary noises can trigger traumas among veterans by reminding them of the haunting sounds of war.
