Mark Norman Francis, James Aylett

[5.11.002]

More Info

A website on which James Aylett (former Chief Technical Officer at Tangozebra) and Mark Norman Francis (front-end architect with
Yahoo) offer one-week workshops for “geeks.” These take place in remote forts far away from civilization (e.g. Fort Clonque on the
UK Channel Islands). As there is no internet connection there, those attending are able to work completely free of any distractions.
The aim is for the group to realize a project within this one week, be it a website, a robot, or something else.

Andy Sandoz: “Learn from tech culture. Focus, fast prototypes and small bets. Go make something and see what happens. Preferably in a small fort.”
