Evian “Waterboy” (02:40)# Just like previous Evian commercials, this spot focuses on maintaining youthfulness and enjoying life. The protagonist, an animated waterboy, humorously shows how precious water is in all walks of life, and the whole thing is once again backed by Queen’s “We Will Rock You.” Although this tune (here padded out with additional percussion and bass sounds) is by now more than familiar, it really does suit the spot very well. Vive la difference! Small wonder, then, that the commercial won a Gold Lion in Cannes.
