What we see or hear, and what we actually believe, are two entirely different things, especially when it comes to news. Using an apple as example, CNN has created an ad showing how false facts are disseminated by the media- and exposing the means used to make us believe an apple is, in fact, not an apple but actually a banana.
Juan Pena & Richard Casal: “CNN is taking a big political stand to tackle the “fake news” conversation in a relevant and fun way. Going back to the most basic form of education, teaching through apples, so the message is as clear as it can be. It uses simplicity as a conceptual tool to take a jab at the current administration.”
