The quality of this year’s TV spots produced
especially for the commercial break
during the Super Bowl – was rather disappointing.
The only commercial to have
been fairly well received was for FedEx,
which is set in the Neanderthal age –
when, pteranodons were used to carry
airmail – the freight item, a strange-looking
stick – simply attached to the leg of
the giant bird. Were it not for a T-Rex, the
package might have made it more than 10
meters. The boss asks his subordinate
why he didn’t FedEx the package. Regrettably,
that the company was not even
around back then fails to prevent the
wretch from being dismissed. The fellow
does not have much time to bewail his
fate, being trampled underfoot by a brachiosaurus
after emerging from his cave.
