A man is sitting in the kitchen in front of
his bangers and mash, looking at the
Felix ketchup bottle in front of him in
bewilderment. He asks his wife whether it
is a new bottle, and she replies in the
affirmative. Whereupon he states that the
label has been put on the wrong way up,
in response to which she simply turns the
bottle upside down. Still a little uncertain,
he squirts ketchup onto his plate,
declaring that he has now understood the
system, prompting his son to make a
smug comment. “Still a pity that the label
is on the wrong way round.” Pay-off:
“Felix Ketchup. Stays right up and down.”
