Once a year, the open-air film festival “Kinas po žvaigždėmis” (English: “Movies Under the Stars”) takes place in Vilnius. The films featured in the festival are timeless classics. Titles like Taxi Driver (1976), Fargo (1996) or Kramer vs. Kramer (1979) have been captivating audiences for years. However, there are still some who haven’t seen these iconic films. To promote the 15th festival season, we targeted these viewers with a subtly judgmental poster campaign. Three posters showcased three different films from the festival program, each featuring illustrations of well-known actors in iconic movie scenes, waiting for their audience. Vivid visuals were paired with text highlighting exactly how long they had waited.
