The Mother’s Day campaign by Fleurop-
Interflora seeks to induce some sympathy
in people whose mothers resemble those
to be seen in the two commercials. In the
first, the mother of the little girl is trying
her hand at hairdressing – only to produce
results that are little short of disastrous.
In the second, the dance routine
by the mother in the bright red dress at
the children’s party proves to be downright
embarrassing for the kids sitting on
the sofa. Yet, as the pay-off urges us, “It
is time to forgive her.”
