For Paris 2024, the dream of reaching the podium was more alive than ever. Brisa Hennessy, our exceptional surfer, arrived fully prepared to achieve that long-awaited goal after 24 years.
As the days passed, Brisa powered through each round, making it to the semifinals and capturing the imagination of an entire nation.
On the day of the competition, Costa Rica came to a standstill. Everyone was glued to the moment when Brisa would hit the waves, and countless brands jumped at the chance to show their support—support that, as a beer brand, we couldn’t shout from our rooftops due to the country’s strict laws against alcohol endorsements in sports.
But staying silent wasn’t an option, especially as Costa Rica’s iconic beer. So, to skirt the restrictions, we found a creative way to be part of the moment—we decided to sponsor the very force where Brisa shines: the waves.
