Grimbergen Beer “Legacy”#
When an abbey, specifically Grimbergen Abbey, gets destroyed by fire three times in over 900 years, this is the perfect opportunity to show how difficult it has been for the monks to ensure the survival of the recipe for Grimbergen’s famous beer. The abbey was rebuilt specially for this film to be shot exactly as it stood in the Middle Ages and then set on fire. Amazing pictures.
