#GuacDance

More Info

A dance challenge that became the TikTok’s highest-performing branded challenge in the U.S.? No problem for Chipotle with their #GuacDance on the video-creation app. According to the popular Mexican restaurant chain, the app saw 250,000 video submissions with their hashtag and approximately 430 million people started the video during the promotion’s six-day run. Also they say they served the most guacamole on a single day ever, all for the challenge, huh? Long live avocado!

Matei Curtasu: “I’ve always said if you don’t get TikTok you’re too old to work in the industry. #GuacDance was a challenge started by Chipotle with the help of a children’s musician. But no-one knew that. They just saw an older dancing lady with a changing background of guacamole ingredients. And the zoomers came back with 250,000 versions of the dance. 430 million views. For a dance challenge, that’s all that matters.”
