In one spot, a corny telenovela cheating-exposed scene, complete with tourist-style subtitles, in the other David Hasselhoff, who, in his capacity as mayor of Funner, tells us how much fun we can have in the little Californian town with such a similar-sounding name. Funner, the VO explains, is “not a word but a place.”
