Harvey Nichols “Backstage” (01:00) #
In this spot for the exclusive Harvey
Nichols food market, the viewer is taken
backstage at a fashion show, which is the
usual bustle of activity with stressed-out
people whichever way one looks. Not
much new about this, of course – until,
that is, a little piglet starts making its way
through the bustle and confusion. Soon, it
becomes apparent that the animals are
the stars of this show, the aim being to
demonstrate the freshness of the food
sold at Harvey Nichols. From a cow being
made up to a sheep whose hair is being
put in curlers, and a goat which, in established
mannequin tradition, is throwing up
in the toilet – everything is represented
here. Events are topped off by the longawaited
appearance of the ostrich. Super:
“The foodmarket collection.”
