Many people evidently wait too long after they notice a change in their hearing, yet waiting too long can lead to complete hearing loss. To prevent that, and to raise awareness of the fact that approx. 3.6 million Australians live with some form of hearing limitation, Cochlear Hearprint™ was launched, an application that calibrates online video and music to the listener’s unique ability. It is available as a Google Chrome extension to listen to anything with unique sound calibration. It can also be used to track changes in a user’s hearing.
