Heat Electric “Terry the Tortoise”, “Carol the Cat” & “Pablo the Parrot” [00:40]# Various claymation animal figures hold forth on the benefits of electric heating. IN the first spot Terry the Tortoise, who claims to be “a very busy person,” describes in detail what he demands of a perfect heating. In the second one we meet Carol the Cat, who, speaking with a strong Welsh accent, tells us how wonderful it is to come back to a warm home “after you’ve been out dancing all night,”, while her flatmate, a very sedate looking dog, shoots her sardonic glances. The final spot in the campaign presents Pablo the Parrot, who, speaking with a Spanish accent, says that he is very “sensitive to weather,” which is why heating, for him, is such a priority. All the while, his companion on the perch has been trying very hard to get a word in – but to no avail. Claim: Heat Electric. For all your creature comforts.
