More Info
The platform was created to confront intolerance, most especially racial
and social discrimination. The first short film, set at the 1936 Olympic
Games in Berlin, shows that not much has changed when it comes to
overcoming these issues, the dialog it features – “We should ship all the
niggers and sink the boats” – all having been culled from present-day
tweets. An appeal to combat prejudice and hatred.
Darre van Dijk: “A very strong film that shows how today’s digital landscape
is making us behave in similar fashion to the way people behaved during
the Nazi era. Very impactful, metaphorically done, and beautifully shot.”
