Karl Lagerfeld’s collection for H&M
hit the headlines at the end of last year.
This is the spot promoting the unusual
collaboration. It’s in black and white,
somehow reminiscent of Fellini and
shows heavily made up matrons, the
parasites and lapdogs of the upper
crust, finding fault with Lagerfeld for
having taken such a drastic step. So
cheap! Cheap? “What a depressing
word,” comments Lagerfeld in the end.
“It’s all about taste. If you’re cheap,
nothing helps.”
