INTER-LGBT “I Love You My Daughter”#
What at first sight appears to be a film documenting an abusive relationship between a father and his daughter – challenging her to fistfight him, chasing her down in his car to make her run faster, forcing her to break out of a wardrobe he is holding shut – turns out to be the story of a loving father toughening up his trans daughter to face the cruel world of discrimination and bullying endured by trans teenagers – and the trans community in general – every single day of their life.
