Jette van der Schatte Olivier “Stop childlabour” (00:30) #
An animated spot that takes a critical
stand on the issue of child labour. An
older light-skinned man is clutching a
dark-skinned child under his arm. Once
the first raindrops begin to fall, he puts
the child up to act as an umbrella. Arrving
home, he wipes his feet on the scraper,
which is also a child, and disposes of the
umbrella child. The coat stand also consists of children, into whose mouths the
man stuffs his coats before flopping down
on the sofa. This is also built from children, whose loud groans can be heard as
they sag under his weight. Pay-off: “Are
you sure you’re just using a product?”
Super: “Stop Child Labour. School is the
best place to work.”
