Buster The Boxer looks on longingly as, late on Christmas Eve, a variety of woodland creatures take possession of a little girl’s Christmas gift, a newly installed garden trampoline. When the girl sees it for the very first time on Christmas morning, it is – to the amazement of the entire family – the mutt who comes forward to break it in for her, boinging up and down ecstatically.
