Kaizers Orchestra

Anorak, Oslo

[4.11.001]

More Info

Thanks to an original campaign and the internet, the album “Hjerteknuser” of Norwegian band Kaizers Orchestra has proved to be very popular. This is the accompanying video.

Chris Clarke: “This isn’t a website, but it is a great way to subvert the emergent conventions of the web in the name of infamy. Norwegian band Kaizers Orchestra promote their new album, not by throwing a single out to the wolves of piracy, but by releasing sheet music and having their audience cover the song before the original is released. This feels more like political art than advertising.”
