Launched by Cosmopolitan Magazine in partnership with UK charity Karma Nirvana, this promotional cover wrap utilized the plastic bag commonly found around women’s magazines to drive awareness of the British girls who have lost their lives to “honour killings.” Among them was Shafilea Ahmed, suffocated with a plastic bag by her parents for embracing western culture and bringing “shame” on her family.
