Mayhem and chaos? Borderlands video games are not for the faint of heart, they are far from being a subtle gaming experience. And in a similar way, the spots advertising them are – no surprise there – going psycho. The ads were created by 2K’s in-house creative teams and are very popular online, as they mock people by presenting some attractive content first before showing their true horror face.

The bland ads glitched into the madness of the FPS series are designed to grab users’ attention while scrolling on Instagram or Facebook. They even used clickbait titles on YouTube like “The 10 Worst Tasting Dog Foods”, that obviously everyone wants to click. Overall, it’s a fantastic way to translate the insanity of the new game.”
