More Info
The twenty-year-old formula for Levi’s jeans devised in the mid-80s by Barbara Nokes for the legendary “Launderette” commercial – a story involving product, a sexy male protagonist, and the whole thing topped off with a classic hit song – is still showing no signs of flagging. Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition” is the song here, and the spot’s star is a pair of Levi’s that – much to the dismay of the guy who has nicked them from a balcony of an apartment where a young black man and his girlfriend are fooling around – demonstrate a life of their own (or, rather, that of their rightful owner …).
