Levi´s 501 “Night and Day” [01:00]# A Cinderella-type story is the latest offering from Lev’s. To a regrettable watered-down version of Janis Joplin’s “Piece of My Heart,” a young woman escapes from the advances of a man with the help of a anonymous knight on a motorcycle who, mission accomplished, whisks off into the night, leaving behind a pair of jeans. Equipped with these, the young beauty then sets out to find her rescuer. But none of the men she asks to try on the jeans fit into them. She does find her hero in the end, of course – it’s the one with the skinniest legs. The end line of the commercial tells us that, with Levi’s 501 jeans no two pairs are the same.
