Lidl Germany “Haus Des Kleinen Geldes”#
In Lidl’s latest clip, “Haus des kleinen Geldes” is an reference to the Netflix show “Money Heist“. It is known as „Haus des Geldes“ in German, which translates to “House of Money” in English. The aesthetics are entirely drawn from Netflix, from the logo reinterpreted as “Netflidlx” and all the way to references to series from “Stranger Things” and “Mr. Robot” to “Money Heist” itself. At the center of the short thriller plot is the competitor investigation that tries to figure out what Lidl’s secret is. An agent in a blonde wig is sent off, who might remind us of Charlize Theron in “Atomic Blonde”, by chance? Pay off: “There’s no catch.”
