Steve Vranakis: “Bowie meets Beck in this modern-day mashup captured by a series of 360° cameras, giving a whole new meaning
to the song ‘Sound and Vision.’ Beck is back and he takes center stage, surrounded by hundreds of singers and musicians playing
all sorts of instruments in this tribute to one of Bowie’s greatest tracks. An experiment in sound, it takes place on three circular
stages using binaural microphones creating a full 360° sound experience. The directional face tracking is pretty
insane and I have to admit that, at times, I almost felt a bit queasy. This is a pretty ambitious project pulled off
flawlessly. They hoped that, through this immersive process, everyone would effectively have the best seat in the
house. They were right.”
