Live Looper

BBDO, New York

[5.18.002]

More Info

The supposedly best way to use Facebook Live’s delay. Irish band The Academic, with some help from BBDO, kind of hacked the social media platform to perform their single use of the audio and video time lag to create an amazing visual loop sampler.

Rafael Segri & Kiko Mattoso: “This is such a smart idea, the delay in the system being used so masterfully and in such an entertaining way. This is one of the few recent ideas that feels truly fresh because it came from a starting point that not many people knew about, and even if people did, it’s not easy to come up with something great with this simple fact. When we saw this idea done so well, we were slightly pissed off.”
