Mac’s WTF Froster “Mr. Tree” (01:26) #
This is arguably the wackiest commercial
for a soft drink currently to be seen. Two
attractive young women are walking across
a field, both clad in nothing but their
underwear. They begin to caress each other
under a tree when, suddenly, a man’s
voice rings out from above. It transpires
that this is no ordinary tree for, instead of
a crown, there is a man’s body at the top
of the trunk. In response to innuendos he
utters, the women take axes and begin to
attack the tree. The tree groans, visibly
contented, until, from its “wounds,” a sap
begins to pour, which the women excitedly
collect in WTF? cups and begin to
drink.
