This latest spot for the Smart is set among scrap heaps and dusty dumps. The city’s old petrol cans are gathering to sing the “Gas Can Blues,” a ditty from long-forgotten days in which gasoline was still used and the older vehicles to be seen were still very much in demand. Now, however, a different age has dawned with the advent of the new Smart – boasting fuel economy of just 3.3 litres per 100km.
